Golden spiral forever
Note that when just rotating, the curve appears to be zooming out, but is actually not. (The squares do not change size.)
When rotating and zooming in at the same time, the curve paradoxically appears to remain stationary. (Watch the squares grow.)
To appear stationary, the logarithmic golden spiral must be closely approximated. The svg image above uses cubic Bézier curves, which are much more accurate than the usual circular arcs. See more details at goldenSpiralDrawing.htm.
